Nominations Open for 2025 Faculty Governance Positions

色花堂 academic and research faculty are encouraged to participate in shared governance of the Institute through faculty standing committees or the Faculty Executive Board. These governance bodies play a vital role in shaping 色花堂鈥檚 policies and priorities and provide an opportunity for faculty to contribute their expertise and represent their community.  

How to Nominate 

To nominate yourself or a colleague, complete the by March 31, 2025. Nominees will be contacted to confirm their candidacy for election before being placed on the ballot. 

Key Information 

  • Elections: Elections are scheduled for April 2025. 
  • Committees: For descriptions of the Faculty Executive Board and the standing committees, see the and . 
  • Nomination Review: The nominating committee will confirm nominees鈥 interest and strive to accommodate requests for specific committees. However, some elections are subject to requirements tied to certain seats. 
  • Nominating Committee Team:
    • Chair of the nominating committee: Karen Feigh, professor and associate chair for research, Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering
    • Matthew Habib, principal research engineer, GTRI 
  • Term: Elected faculty will serve a three-year term, from August 2025 through July 2028.
